Interesting, I've heard from someone with an inside connection that:
"Retros will be regular home and away jerseys next year. The black C jersey will be the third jersey but redesigned. Remember that shoulder patch that had CF made into a mountain? Apparently something to do with that. It may change because the redesign isn't finalized/approved."
This was a while ago, so maybe they scrapped that and are going with Blasty instead.

I hope that is true with the Black C and the awesome mountain shoulder patch.
If so we’d never have to change any of those three jerseys for ever.

On the regular home and away jerseys I can live with Blasty on the shoulder. I cannot live with Blasty on the chest. On a 3rd jersey? I suppose I can live with it, but I wouldn't buy one.

I honestly think this is the best jersey set up the Flames could possibly have, and makes sense if there is a throwback jersey allowed for next year.
Two red jerseys, a white jersey, and a black jersey. Covers all eras of Flames hockey. And the nicest jerseys (and most successful) in Flames history are the primary set.

When I was a young kid, this jersey made me a big coyotes fan. That and Khabibulin, whose rookie card I had at the time (in a Jets jersey tho).

Just watching the NHL 21 trailer. I know its EA so it could very well be a flub but I wonder if they already pre-programmed the jersey to reflect the retros being the full time home & away. Thats clearly the retro lettering on the current aways.
