Anything that's ever aired on the WB/CW.

Any comedy that stars a clueless lazy, usually fat husband who is married to a gorgeous sassy know it all wife.

Small Wonder is right up there. But there is one show that takes the prize...Seinfeld.

How can anyone hate Two and a Half Men?
You'd have to have a screw loose. Or you're not of this world.

(Strictly speaking of the Sheen era)

Kinda OT, but the network sitcoms are awful and have been for the last several yrs IMO. The last ones I made a point to try and catch were 30 rock and The office up till season 4. I don't see how people can be so entertained by Big Bang Theory (check out BBT with no laugh track) or How I met your Mother. I just can't associate with any of the of the shows. The wife like Moder Family but again, it's just crap to me. The writers just go for joke, joke, joke rather then developing comedy.

As for the Network dramas I haven't followed anything since the Gill Grisom days of CSI. The f/x, and HBO shows are just so much better to me, much more real with less "acting".

As for the OP I watched a lot of Corner Gas and that show was awful. Brett Butt was trying way to hard.

Sitcoms or comedy shows have a rough rule of a laugh about every three seconds... This is why most fail.

reality tv aside, I always shake my head that a) someone conceived this series and b) someone approved it:

The American Kitchen Nightmares series.

After coming off of watching the entire UK series on NetFlix, it was friggin' terrible. Like, just so goddamn stupid, poorly edited, badly paced, and focuses on the wrong parts of what made the UK series so great.
