I need special permission to go to the pub these days haha. Plus today's the pesky wedding anniversary.
I'll pay the $6 for the day pass, or maybe I'll just do a one-year sub for OneSoccer.

Hey Sherm, have you heard anything on Cavalry season ticket holders getting a free pass again? I'm happy to subscribe to onesoccer but if we might get it for free I will keep doing daily subscriptions.

If you're a CMNT fan onesoccer is 100% worth it right now. Been a steady stream of WCQs, olympic qualifying, and expect they will own the gold cup. Hopefully (knocks on wood) the whole 14 game season of the ocho next winter.
I don't think Haiti lost anybody critical today, their goalie maybe but their backup is no amateur, he's in 2nd div Portugal (although somewhat remarkably he is actually Canadian with Haitian ancestors/parents).

Haven't heard anything specific from Cavalry about the OneSoccer situation for 2021.
I think anyone who exercised their free year before the pandemic (such as myself) got their free year and then had to pay when it expired. Anyone who didn't exercise their free year before the pandemic saw it roll over. But everyone seems to have a different situation.

If you want to watch the national team and/or CPL, a one year sub is definitely worth it. Mine was $75 for the year. Not much value outside of that though. Lille and the odd Mexican game.

If you told me 10 years ago that I could pay $75 and watch all of Canada's qualifying games for the year, I would be ecstatic.

I've got onesoccer for the all the Canadian national team games and CPL games. I also watched Mexico vs USA on it a little while ago. I think it's great value with (hopefully) more CMNT games to come.

I feel like their coverage is 10x better than the big networks too. Their features, panels, etc are all way more in depth. Forrest and many others who carried the torch for sportsnet and tsn over the years did great, but onesoccer has a more singular focus and almost no ads

I was looking forward to this, but as I turned it on and Andi said “we’re moments away from handing it over to Gareth and Terry”, my enthusiasm dulled somewhat.

Surprised to not see any posts from the first half. Solid job by Canada I thought. Thought they really controlled things and certainly had their chances to finish at least one. Should be a good finish. Keep it up boys.
***Edited to add, I'm a casual soccer fan at best and I've read alot of bittnerness towards Henry over the years about his play on the MNT (no idea if it's warranted or not) but come onnnnn man you need to bury that header. He completely shanked that opportunity, was shocking to see how bad he missed it.

The Curacao-Panama match ended 0-0 so Panama is through to the OCHO.

Canada jittery at the back, but the Haitians even worse.
Canada was a class above IMO. Would be extremely disappointing if they miss the Ocho.

Both teams are trash. I can’t see either one of them winning a single match in the group stage if they play like this.
