He has such a sneaky shot, even if it was deflected. 3 points so far tonight late in the game.

Never fails to amaze me that he looks like he’s a junior A kid out for a skate with his dad’s beer league.
I’m sure for some the thats a knock but I don’t mean it that way. Maybe it’ll prove good or bad, I don’t know. I just enjoy the ride.

Parekh's fresh new 2nd round highly-touted linemate that was just added and is putting up some crazy impressive stats to start.
Chernyshov has been fun to follow so far.
Thanks Sandman!

Ok, but this a Flames prospect thread.
I can go to the OHL site to check other teams prospects stats if I care.

Right, but just because one known CP troll doesn't care, doesn't mean the rest of us prospect-caring junkies don't

No one cares lol, Sandman can type whatever about whoever, what an odd thing to complain about. You could also just stop reading after catching up on the players you do care about.

When something catches my eye enough to be amazing, I just have to pass it on as a sidenote.

Heres an idea, why don't you just go do that from now on and let the sandman do their thing.

You seem like you're either incredibly miserable, or incredibly bored in real life. Potentially both.
Feel free to go look in a mirror and fix yourself instead of expecting everyone to conform to your expectations.
SANDMAN, Thank You so much for all these updates you provide! It helps make this site amazing.

If a player is posting 3pts/g, even if its a small sample size, it is noteworthy even if it isn't by a Flames prospect.

Chernyshov is putting up very impressive numbers, but it's important IMO to note that he was already playing in the KHL for 34 games before coming to NA and playing junior.
However, he has clearly learned a thing or two playing with full grown men and is putting those learnings to good use.

Back to Parekh.
Scorpion posted his on his twitter now but Parekh is now 4 goals away from being the only dman ever with 2 30 goal OHL seasons.
He's also T-7th all time in goals by a d-man in the OHL, and most of anybody who played in the OHL since Dennis Wideman.
It's ridiculous his only options next year are OHL or NHL...the NHL, CHL, and AHL really need to revist that rule, especially with players allowed to go to the NCAA now. 19 year olds should be eligible for the AHL.

CHL First round picks should be able to go to the AHL at 19. Simple solution.

per quant hockey he has the highest goals per game of any D man in OHL history (with at least 50 goals scored)- their site lists a guy named Tony MacKenzie ahead of him- but any where else I look that guy is listed as a forward, which I tend to believe , as his 43 goal season would have been an OHL record at the time (tying Orr- albeit it wasn't called the OHL then and MacInnis) and would have certainly had him drafted
