Being one of the few that worked through covid was awesome. It's like there were no rules. Not going to say how fast I went on Deerfoot and Barlow, but it was really a choose your own adventure. Everything felt lawless. Fkn loved it.

As someone who also worked through COVID...it was kind of a blast.

My commute is normally 9 to 11 minutes. I was making it in under 5.

Then...I have my own office. No masks necessary as I'm generally there by myself, people emailed or dropped off.

It was an interesting time.

Every time I'm in traffic, or behind some struggler, I loudly wish for another pandemic

I think it went lower than that didn't it? But yeah, there was a while there where gas was cheap like borscht.

I wish our winter was just a little more... even. Like I'd rather 2 weeks with a high of -10 than a week of -20 and a week of 0.

Not much better in Calgary.

Quote:
Extremely cold wind chill values near minus 40 are expected this morning and again tonight.

Wind chill values will moderate somewhat during the day but extreme cold is expected to return in the overnight and early morning hours.
Mind you at some point, -30 or whatever, its all really the same.

Effin cold and not fit for human nor animal.

Yep -25 to -30 for a couple more days, then +5 to +10 going forward.

Some "normal" winter temperatures for ODR / skiing would be good, either too cold or too slushy it seems. Are -5 highs not really a thing anymore?
