I have abstained from watching any live US open this year and look how the Canadians have fared.
It’s good to recognize one’s jinxing prowess and act accordingly, for the good of the tennis nation.

And look Enoch, he broke back to level the set at 5.
Non watching jinxers rejoice!

Thiem is a beast, I think he's surpassed Federer in terms of ability to win a Grand Slam (outside of Wimbledon). However Felix is hanging in there and if he can get a break I still think he can turn this around.

Agreed, he is Nadal's biggest threat at the French Open, but he is right at home on the hard courts as well. Felix is playing some fine tennis, just needs to hang in there and keep the pressure on Thiem.

Voted for Kodos

Not sure about that challenge that won the set. Challenge showed out, but it was in, and not particularly close, live.

Totally, he probably should have won the AO this year when he was up 2 sets to 1 then lost his game.
He is the prince of clay and will have multiple French Open titles.....when Nadal retires.
Felix still working hard, only down one break here and came close to breaking just now. He will get his chances to break just has to protect his serve.

Every Canadian in action at the US Open today...lost their match. This includes Denis and Gaby in their respective doubles matches.

To be fair, Denis losing in doubles isn't the worst thing. Now he can just focus on singles. PCB is going to be a tough match.

Not so fast, my friend. I give Rublev an excellent chance of upsetting his compatriot and facing Thiem in one of the semi-finals

Rublev has played like he did in 2017 when he lost to Rafa in the quarters, but Medvedev has been on a mission this whole tournament. Watch we get a di Minaur vs Rublev semi now

Well, the path to #24 got a little easier for Serena with Kenin losing earlier this evening.

Not just about the Canadians, but that must have been the worst middle Monday of mens tennis in USO history. Not a single compelling moment, just hard stomps. Denis must avenge his fallen brethren and absorb their powers unto himself.

Shapo is 0-3 against PCB on hard court which includes 0-7 in sets against him. Make no mistake this is going to be a very hard match for Shapo, he needs to stay disciplined and not get frustrated easily or it will be 0-4.

My immediate reaction to his win against Goffin was that he's finally arrived as a true top level pro. The mental mistakes and tactical errors that plagued him during his first few years on tour are becoming fewer and far between seemingly every event he plays. He's also finding a way to turn his serve into a weapon.
Pablo, who is not an easy out by any means, is walking into a match against a very dangerous player right now who also has a top 10 ranking coming his way with a win. Given how well Shapo played a similar and far better player in Goffin, I have have a lot of confidence that he has turned the corner and can take this in 4 or 5 sets.
