I found I was unlocking my Pixel 2 to see the temperature on the home screen a lot anyways, so I welcome the addition of the weather on the lock screen.
I probably wouldn't mind it too much, but it has never been accurate for me, or at least, I could look out the window to get the same information. Now for some reason it is showing the temp in Fahrenheit and not Celsius, no matter what settings I change.
My biggest gripe is I could pull down the notification screen and see my next upcoming alarm, and could tap it to change. I can still see the next alarm, but have to go to the clock app in order to change it if I need to, which is a bit cumbersome.
-Totally bricked my phone when it installed on the first day of my vacation, luckily was able to get it working after a call to Google and full restore\
-Battery life is not great for my Pixel 2- I'm not the only one http://piunikaweb.com/2018/08/28/mas...pie-users-say/
-Volume controls are terrible
No issues with battery life for my Pixel 2 after upgrading. Anyone who drops to 50% a few hours in must have something else going on in the background.

I'm 3 hours into the day and at 70% with no real useage and nothing running in the background- That's about double the consumption I had before the upgrade
So apparently there is a Galaxy exclusive skin in Fortnite on the Tab S4 and Note 9. I’m not an android guy and use a company iPhone anyway but I’m looking for someone with either to help me unlock a skin for my kid. If this sounds like you hit me up and we can figure out the details.

I'm also 3 hours in today on using my phone and have 80% battery left. I was watching videos and looking at pictures mostly on twitter and facebook for over an hour or so. Seemed pretty normal to me!
People seem to be going crazy for the Pocophone F1. Specs are equal to that of the Note 9 or other flag ship phones starting at 300$ USD. Curious if there's any issue running this on a Canadian Telco. Also interested to hear feedback from anyone with interest. It seems like an amazing phone for the price.
Update, I called Google as it as my battery continued to plummet during the day- Was called back in a minute and talked to a support person that had me put my phone into safe mode for an hour to see if it was the battery or maybe a rogue up using all the power-
She called back after an hour and when safe mode fixed the problem, she advised me to update any apps that I hadn't done yet ( I don't update any I don't use, Maps, Google games/ music etc) Battery life since has been back to normal since.
Twice now I have contacted Google support, both times very prompt and awesome to deal with.
App auto-updates are the default behavior, any particular reason to have it turned off?
Just used to having old phones with little storage, I was not updating them because I could not delete them despite finding better apps that do the same job or ones I don't use- Maps VS Waze, Google Music VS Spotify, Gboard VS Swiftkey, Google games/music/ etc are just programs I don't use, so didn't bother backing up.
Soo...what phone does everyone have right now and do they like it?!
Oneplus 6, and yes. Its been flawless, battery life is great, screen is amazing, its fast as hell, the camera is great. I came from a ZTE Axon 7 so my only complaint is that the external speaker is not as loud as it could be, but I'm comparing it to a phone who's selling point was the insane front facing stereo speakers with incredible volume
I picked up the Essential PH-1 on the cheap from Amazon and I love it so far. Great size, screen and battery life is excellent. It's not the greatest of phones but can't go wrong with the price.
Played with a Note 9 yesterday, what a gorgeous phone.
I jumped ship and decided to try Android, ended up picking up the Note 9 yesterday and I have no idea what I'm doing yet.
Haha lol.
My guess is you will love it in no time, but when I made the switch from Apple way back, I felt like the stupidest person on earth the first couple days with it!
