Yep, that'll just about do it for me and ever giving WWE another dime. Say what you will about AEW's booking, at least they're not going to be a money-laundering and sports-washing source for one of the most despicable regimes on the planet.

I think Sami, any woman, and anyone who identifies at LGBTQ should be able to get out of contracts

In the most casual way possible. Ask me how much money I've spent on City. Go on.

Sounds like this isn't actually true.

JP Morgan is in the middle of helping WWE with a potential sale, so I imagine it's going to take some time processing details, smoothing our regulatory requirements, etc.

I still think it's the Saudi Public Investment Fund, but Blaster86 is correct, it seems it's still in the air.

I could see the Saudi's offering $10B which is likely more than Comcast or the others would pay.

If they are willing to throw $2B at LIV with no TV deal and no established content then you'd think they'd be willing to throw huge money here.

If they are interested it only feels like a matter of time IMO.

Although it's also tough to ever gauge what Vince wants. He wanted back in the business for sure, but he's always been very open about legacy. I still do think Comcast / NBC Universal would be his preference from a legacy perspective.

All he's ever wanted is to be seen as a legitimate business and businessman, and selling to that group really validates that for him.

Selling to the Saudis is a "I'll rule the world even if I'm the only one left in it" kind of move. It burns his legacy to the ground, it ends any sort of goodwill they would have with most fans and it likely ends any upward momentum we've seen with onscreen product. The only thing the Saudi deal offers is entirely personal for Vince. More money and likely letting him stay on board creatively and possibly even on the board in general because a 70 year old guy's sex related problems are absolutely nothing compared to the awful #### the Saudi's get up to.

The WWF(E) was fun way back when they had Rock, Austin, Bret Hart.

Did some fun and risky things. Remember when Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart real life beef that came on screen. He said he was sleeping was Sunny and it caused Bret to get divorced. Painted racial slurs in the Nation's locker room and called Bret the Grand Wizard.

Vince McMahon is a terrible human being this a sale to Saudis makes a lot of sense.

They couldnt get a tv deal for liv either

They ended up just basically buying time slots on fs1, fox wouldn't even sell ads for them

So I dont know how much it makes sense for Saudis either, if they cant get a tv deal it's worth nowhere near its price

Vince could always negotiate new TV deals and then sell to the Saudis. The other option would be for the Saudis to set up their own streaming service. WWE already has the infrastructure for it.

It still won't be anywhere near as profitable if no one is willing to advertise on the platform. They would also have to realize there would be so much push back by fans that the number of subs wouldn't be worth it.

Dax on his podcast announced that they asked Tony Kahn to be taken off of TV for the next few months so they can go home and heal and decide on their future. Their AEW contracts expire in April.

He said they are open to talking about a contract extension, but everything is going to come down to how they can make the most money as they are getting to the end of their careers.

Adam Cole coming back last night is fantastic news for both him and AEW. Really hope he's able to stay healthy for his sake.

I hope he can keep up the momentum from last night - his initial run was a bit flat. But last night was already better than most of that first run.

For FTR it's really mind boggling that TK messed up their booking. You had the ROH, NJPW, and AAA tag titles on them. All you had to do was put the AEW titles on them too and you have a bit of a historical run.

Instead they did nothing with them and shelved them for a bit.

Even then Lee and Strickland won the AEW Titles on July 16th or something - there was tons of time for them to put the belts on FTR during that time.

Bucks were suspended so don't think it was their involvement.

Do think it might have been Tony Kahn just making a bad business call though.
