No. I enjoy watching hockey when I don’t care about the result.

I hear you. I’ve always put Calgary first and when they get eliminated, I don’t care about the rest of the league much at all. And I sure as hell don’t root for other Canadian teams. I’m glad Winnipeg and hope the leafs get knocked out too.

I'll only watch the Oilers games. Wait! Why can't I find their games in the playoffs schedule?

They're in the same section where the Flames playoff schedule is.

I either watch the flames, hoping they’ll win, or I hate watch teams like the oilers or canucks, hoping they’ll lose.
I don’t really have any teams left I hate that much. I don’t want Vegas to win, otherwise I don’t care very much.
Go Columbus I guess. Woo.

I enjoy relaxing with some hockey. Don’t plan my schedule around the games, but I like it.

i love playoff hockey, especially the first round...
as the playoffs progress, i usually look for a team to cheer for so you have a bit of a rooting interest...but as teams drop off, i tend to only watch the last period if the game happens to be close.
depending on the match up and my schedule, i'll watch some of the stanley cup especially if there's a team i am cheering for... if not, i tend to watch the last few as the cup is getting closer

I haven't lost interest, but I haven't been up to watch another game as of yet. Flames miss the playoffs I have difficulty getting into the first round. I just need a period of no hockey to reset.
Same thing happens with baseball. It's not that I don't care, it's that I need the time to unwind.

I used to just love hockey no matter who was playing but now if I don't have an interest in one of the teams playing I find myself not paying attention if it's on.
The trick is to find another team to root for. Of course, I'm all Flames all the time but I've also always liked the Bruins, and seeing the Islanders do well would be awesome. You don't have to be a fan of another team, but at least picking someone to root for makes it more interesting. Or even someone to root against

Playoff hockey is excellent entertainment. Also enjoy following the storylines which develop during the playoffs. You are missing out on great viewing if your bitterness keeps you away. Also odd for some to follow the drudgery of the regular season and not follow the playoffs.

When Canucks were a playoff team and they ended up losing I couldn’t watch hockey or even listen to the radio for at least a few days after. Eventually though I would get back into it. For you guys I totally get if you find it tough to watch after the regular season you had.
Also being in hockey pools help keep the interest level up.

You are not alone, I grew up a flames fan ever since I moved to Calgary in 1997 as a 6yr old. Supported the team through thick and thin. I don’t know, ever since that Anaheim series in 2017 I completely shut off. I barely watched any hockey games this year but stupidly went to the game on Friday after flying in to see my family for the weekend. I wish I didn’t go because I was a miserable wreck for the rest of the weekend... just having that slight hope I did, only to witness another gutless effort by the flames. I’m at a loss really, I just can’t put my finger on it. It’s ####ing heartbreaking man.

If I’m being honest I lost interest after game 2. I said back in January that the Flames weren’t built for “playoff hockey” but it pisses me off that that is even a thing. I’m sick of watching this rugby on ice. What kind of do called “professional” league prides itself on 2 sets of rules?
I don’t doubt that if the Flames were allowed to play by “pre-all star break rules” that they could compete for a cup. But this playoff crap doesn’t do it for me anymore.
Or maybe I’m just getting old and give AF anymore.

This season has definitely been filled with ups and downs.
It seems like just yesterday we were entering the playoffs and shutout the avs in game 1.
I am still in disbelief that such an extraordinary season hs ended but I guess that is just professional sports.
However, I still love this team and am excited to see if they may progress next year! Go flames go!

Eh, it's great to have on in the background while doing something else. I can't say I'm all that invested, though.
It's hard to watch a full game without any emotional investment, although occasionally you'll get a ring-a-ding-dong-dandy even without caring about the teams.
Watching game involving teams I hate (eg. the leafs) is just as hard as watching a Flames playoff game.

Nope NHL hockey playoffs are exciting and there is nothing like it. Flames in or not I watch em right to the end. Then go through withdrawal until September.
