We be slumping, no question. I want no part of Dallas in the first round. Still 6 more games to get back on track.

Flames have a ton of passengers right now. A ton.
Monahan;
Neal;
Lindholm;
Jankowski.
What have these players done recently? How have they improved when the games have gotten difficult?
Simple answers: they've done nothing, and they've gotten worse. And both of those need to change, stat.

Bottom line is the first line has looked horrible for the last little while. Those three (specifically Monahan and Lindholm) really need to get it together.
Still 6 points up on San Jose.

Calgary won more faceoffs in total, just not when it mattered. Monahan was doing fine until the last 4. Should have been Backlund taking those though.

Scoring Winger

Everyone bitching about the trap game hurting the Flames...ok whatever, but we should still be able to capitalize on the PP. Need to sort out that #### out. Lots of space out there on the PP but we ain't scoring. Happy to see Peters shake it up tonight, had some good PP looks. 5v5 not so much. Optimistic we shall prevail as division champs. Go Flames!

I worry that if this team doesn't take care of business on Friday, they'll crack under the pressure on Sunday due to how meaningful that game will be.

Frustrating game, especially the final period. Can't win a faceoff in the last minute. Puck bouncing around like a clown car. For some reason this loss annoys me more than most this season. Stars are just as annoying to lose to as the Ducks this season. Radulov's goal was an awesome effort on his part, but stupid how 3 players let him pass by.

I cant pick out a single thing he has done well in the last few games.
Not a single faceoff win in the last minute, bad passes, blatant turnovers... I'd swap him for Hathaway at this point

Imagine thinking a point a game player is bad.

Alright let's try to bring in some level-headedness to this pity party.
Our biggest weakness throughout the season is much improved with both goalies playing well.
We are getting shots, but they are generally lower quality and not very dangerous. There were not many times (especially on Bishop) that we even had a scoring chance.
But this is a team that's stepped up when they had to, whether that's been the top line or the fourth. It's gotta be tough to slog through a season mostly in 1st in the West and have a six point lead with six games left.
I could give a crap what happens in the next five games. No one will remember them. Just be ready for the playoffs.

What do they do now? I say call up dube and inject some energy into the lineup. A Sam Bennett return would be great too.

They dont look as intense or have that killer instinct as they did earlier this year. They'll figure it out, wound be nice for them to look up first and then cost but I guess they prefer to make things interesting.
Their best players really need to start being their best players.

I believe it.Just look at the wins we got recently, bottom feeders or slumping teams. What's the last good team we beat? Pittsburgh? They are pretty average.

Don't the Flames have a better record versus playoff teams than San Jose and Vegas?

Soft in the offensive zone. The aggressive play on that part of the ice that we enjoyed for 60 games is gone. Garbage penalty by Hathaway cost them. Stupid.
