Cup parade back on for the Oilers? What a team! Powerhouse of the west!

win a nothing game vs a bottom feeder team that weakens their draft position? I'd take that any day of week.

Oilers ain't getting into the playoffs, so winning some games now just hurts them

It's a shame we didn't get to play against Quick last night. Flames would have pumped at least 9 or 10 by him.

Because he's self absorbed?

The real team guys tend not to make a big splash after goals except when they're actually huge for the team's outcome. See: Tkachuk.

Love how Tkachuk simply points at the guys who assisted on his goal.

Love how a few guys do that now, too.

Coyotes/blackhawks game seems destined to go to overtime. Further proof of how hard it is to make up points in the NHL.

Two periods and barely 20 SOG for either team.

I hope for the Oilers to be able to catch up for the wild card spot and then have the Flames kicks them out of the playoffs on the final game of the season.

That would be awesome.

Nope, f*** that. Oilers don't deserve to be anywhere near the playoffs, even if it's to watch them get destroyed. I hope that garbage team misses the playoffs every single year for the rest of their miserable existence.

I'm fine with the Oilers sucking their way out like they do, or winning 6 straight to have us step on their fingers as they cling to the edge of the cliff in game 82.

The media would be insufferable, but their salty heartbreak would provide a solid dose of E=NG to close out the year.

1-0 Coyotes!

Nick Cousins walks in and gets his own rebound.

Skate of shame for Seabrook, as the worst PK in the NHL gives up a lead.

If all goes well over the next week here, the Flames will be resting most of their top guys in that game, so I could see the Oilers likely winning that one. It would suck if that's somehow the game that allows them to squeak in. I don't think any of us want that.

The best thing for the hockey world right now is for the Oil to be mathematically eliminated ASAP, hopefully before the end of the week. F that team forever.
