No finish tonight, dominated play but couldn’t buy one. Came out flat and let the Kings go into their defensive shell. PP needs to be better tho, this is a must.

Smith was good. PK was good.

Not a lot of luck on some of the bounces but Campbell was good. 1st line wasn't great.

PP........yikes. Needs some work, asap.

I wonder if Tre takes a look at Jack Campbell in the offseason. Getting mighty crowded there in LA with Quick and Petersen around.

Putting all the hyperbole aside, there are grounds to be worried about the top line. No chemistry, no magic. How to get it back?

Lol he's a minus-what, now?

I don't know if he's much of an expert on that part of the game. Also the Flames have owned them for years. If it were so easy, maybe that wouldn't be the case.

Take the positives and move on.

Lots of shots by the Flames but Campbell could see all of them. Frustrating when the Flames failed to get players in front of the net.

Smith made some grade A saves to keep it 1-0 for the Kings. He was the least of our problems.

Might be the time to break up the top line and add some toughness to it like Tkachuk.

This thread is gonna be unbearable tonight. I'm outta here. See y'all on Wednesday for the Dallas game.

I'm not even that mad. Just one of those games where the puck wasn't going in for us. It happens to every team once in a while. Just gotta move on and beat Dallas on Wednesday.

The PP is definitely concerning though. Gotta fix that crap sooner than later.

Smith with another terrific game, but I'd really like to see Rittich against Dallas.

Hopefully the Wings can do us a favor tonight. Would be nice to lock up the division as early as possible so we can start resting guys.

Meh, had 40 shots despite the first line being atrocious. Biggest issue right now is getting Monahan and Lindholm out of their slump before playoffs.

nm stupid post.

Honestly tonight I think the ice was brutal. Johnny looked like he couldn't handle the puck at all.

Maybe something like

Gaudreau - Backlund - Frolik
Tkachuk - Monahan - Lindholm
