Default [Gone] Jurassic World: 5-Movie Collection on Blu-ray for $10

I'm usually only down for 4K versions but the Jurassic World Collection in blu ray is $10 physical (and digital?)

Usually ships within 1 to 2 months.
I've given up on anything from Amazon that shows that long of a shipping date.

The $10 price was only up for about an hour. It was on Prime too.

They must have just sold out then. I have prime but it's only showing up as available from third party sellers for $30

The first Jurassic Park cost $30M. Adjusted for inflation that's still less than $100M.

You would think the bean counters would realize they could save money and make better movies if they just told the directors to turn off their computers and go play with some puppets.

You need a better story for that.

Unfortunately we don't get to see "real" dinosaurs for the first time anymore. The amazement of CGI dinosaurs isn't there anymore. The large animatronics were incredible. The story was decent, though the kids (hacker) were a bit annoying.

It going to be really difficult for them to recapture the feeling of the first one because it was a cinematic achievement at the time. We see big CGI monster movies 5-6 times a year now.

I've never really had an issue with it. Almost always gets delivered well before their original estimate.

And for $10 at literally no risk, I'll forget about it and be pleasantly surprised.

Which is why the Star Wars, Empire and especially Return of the Jedi is pretty much unwatchable nowadays.

Wait, the original Star Wars trilogy is unwatchable because of the story?

Congratulations. You somehow beat CanadaMatt (see E=NG) for worst post of the month.

The problem is that there are only so many variations on the whole “Dinos escape and chase humans” plot.

It’s why fallen kingdom was so bad. They tried something new but it was worse than just being derivative.
