Origin of Flames' Horsehead Logo Story?

I, for one, absolutely love Ol' Blasty and pray the Flames will bring it back next season or 2020-21.

As a season ticket holder, I go out of my way at every game to compliment people I see wearing those beautiful horsehead jerseys.

God what a sexy jersey.

When the flames transition to retro home and aways, bring this beauty back as the alternate. Youngings like me never got to see this jersey live on television or in person. Such a sexy jersey

The horsehead was just fine for an alternate like some of have mentioned. Even the pedestal ones would be great as an alternate (especially the red one). The retros can't come soon enough, the current set is a disgrace and I for one am surprised they lasted this long.

Retro full time next season is going to be a real treat. The red retro has come and gone a few times, but we have never seen the white retro worn since it was abandoned in the early 90's. Going to be nice, that's for sure.

That would be my guess, and they'll gauge the reaction to see if they would profit by making that the full time road

I think having a black 3rd jersey would be great. I liked the horse head logo, but if others don't like it, I'm fine with the flaming C on a black jersey.

Nothing has been confirmed yet. If they do wear the white retro in the Heritage Classic, I'd expect them to wear it for a few other games during the rest of the season. I believe that has been common for other teams after they play in an outdoor game.

No word that this is happening

But I'd bet we see the retro white outdoors next year, the same if not more retro nights at the dome, and a full swap a year or two after that.
