this was a dream season, i've been saying for years that as a fan who watches every game all i want is a season where the flames are a winning team. just be a top team in the league, and that's what this season was, it was winning all the damned time. good team fun ride.
if you take the longview, long dominant teams are on the decline. ducks, kings, hawks etc. there's upheaval in the west right now, and the flames are well poised to compete each year.
