Avs win but they look terrible besides MacKinnon

If I was drafting a team right now, I’d take MacKinnon after McDavid and Crosby. Super elite #1 centre

Avs win.

Updated look at the WC:

1. Dallas (88 - 4 GR)
2. Colorado (85 - 4 GR)
--
3. Arizona (82 - 4 GR)
4. Minnesota (79 - 5 GR (currently leading VGK 3-1))

Much rather play the Avs than Dallas or St Louis. Avs are basically a one line team and MMM have shown they can shut them down.

Not scared of the Avs. We're deeper.

Should be interesting. I think the only 'easy' game in that bunch is Arizona's game against LA. Might come down to the last day.

many of those tough teams will be resting players which will make it very interesting finish to the season for the bottom 3

So the worst possible outcome for the Oilers so far tonight. Good.

I guess that means the coyotes are pretty much done, bummer. Would have been a really fun first series with some neat storylines

So true. It's like everyone wants a bye to the cup.

That said I like the Avs because their goalies dont really concern me.

The Penguins are not making it easy on themselves to clinch a playoff spot, they could easily be caught with their inconsistent play. The 2017 SC reunion game is just that. The Predators relied on Rinne for the win and was a stud, especially in the 1st period when the Pens dominated it, 22-11 were the shots. The Predators scored a goal in each period and Rinne was 63 seconds away from the shutout when Bjugstad scored. The Preds PK was perfect at 4 for 4.

The Blues ran into great goaltending by Giorgiev. He was the one mand show as he stopped 44 shots in the Rangers win. The Blues out shot the Rangers 36-14 in the 2nd and 3rd periods. The Blues had a 2-0 lead after the 1st period, kind of surprised they lost here.

The Wild had a 3-0 lead and had to hang on with Dubnyk doing his voodoo magic to keep his team in the playoff race.
