Warren Miller - Legendary ski filmmaker passs away
Passed away today at 93.
His movies at the Jubilee were always the kickoff to ski season. They were always awesome to watch, and his narration was perfect.
Hope your making some tracks in the clouds now.

Grew up watching ski time and steep and deep, over and over and over. His movies were big part of my childhood.

"If you don't do it this year, you'll be one year older when do." definitely had a big impact the direction my life went. Thanks for the inspiration, Mr Miller.

Always a fan. The atmosphere in Edmonton at the jubilee was always top notch. Building paper airplanes out of the giveaway crap in the lobby was always my favorite!

It was on one of his films that I first saw snowboarding, and it inspired me to pursue it.
Always found his films a little on the cheezy side, but you can't deny the influence he had on ski films. I always looked forward to them every year with my old man when I was a kid.
RIP.

My dad always took me to the Memorial Centre in Red Deer every November to see his latest film. The local ski shops always set up tables in the lobby to showcase the new gear. I looked forward to ski season more than Christmas.
I will always remember the funny blooper stuff Miller did. For example, his chairlift bloopers at the top of Mount Moron.

Loved his narration work. That voice is synonymous with skiing for me.
