Star Wars Identities
Going to be taking my son and daughter to this in a few weeks.
Anyone go or have tips to maximize the experience?

Yeah, I went two weeks ago. I liked it.
If you're a Star Wars fan, you'll like all the costumes, artifacts, props, pre-production artwork, etc.
I thought the "Identities" part where you answer questions and a character is created would be a lot better than it was though.
Tip: You can't just pay and walk in. There are designated start times in an attempt to space people out. If you don't buy tickets in advance, you might show up and not be able to go inside for a few hiurs if its busy. I went on a Saturday and there were some pretty big line-ups at some of the stations as well.

It was pretty fun. We took our 3 and 4 year old boys. They enjoyed looking at everything but weren't patient enough to listen to all exhibits.
They really liked the Identities part of it.

Same boat as KTrain. Took our boys aged 7 and 4, and daughter (18 months... she was just along for the ride). They were impatient and didn't stop to listen to all the audio/video. We were there for nearly an hour and a half. Could have easily doubled the time without kids. Overall, it was an awesome experience, the boys loved it, my wife and I loved it, and my daughter was just happy to be with us.
If you need a stroller for your kids you can't take a huge stroller. They have size restrictions. At the front door they have taped off a box, and if your stroller fits in the box, you can take it in. I saw a couple of people returning their strollers to their vehicles.

I went last weekend. It was alright. Pretty expensive, but nothing outrageous.
I'm not a HUGE starwars fan and thought the interaction could have been better. The identities part I thought would be much cooler and not some automated script that makes a story.

Buy the Star Wars Identities Catalog from the gift shop if you think you rushed through anything. It has photos of everything in the exhibit, as well as descriptions of what you're looking at. It's worth the $20 if you're a Star Wars fan.

I wonder if this will be coming to Calgary's Science Centre at all....the reviews don't make me want to make the trip up the QE2 but I'd go if it were in town. Anybody have any inside info on if it's coming south?

I saw it in Montreal. I agree the Identities part was a bit disappointing, though kind of fun for kids. Seeing all the original props and costumes, not to mention conceptual sketches, was interesting though. I think it's worth going if you're in the area.
