... But more, seriously, I think a relegation system combined with the draft and a salary cap would be super interesting.
The cap would be more like a ceiling instead of the norm and likely make the top tier wider than it is in soccer.
Also awarding new teams with top prospects would be something no other relegation system has. Oh, and you could absolutely stop worrying about tanking. Teams would fight tooth and nail to avoid relegation.
Absolutely never going to happen. But would be really interesting.
