It took me a while but I was able to find Bravo Company lines just outside Pakrac.

Ain't nothing changed along that road.

Spoiler!

This is really gross, but it's also really satisfying.

A tale in 5 parts.

Drove up to Lake Minnewanka today with the wife for a Rainy Day Picnic. The drive was great, the picnic was pretty good, there was almost no one at LM (we saw 3 other couples), the scenery was great, and the drive home was good.

I'm feeling much, much better about life in general right now.

I appreciated finally seeing a post in this thread. The endless politics-related threads as well as real life news and conversations are wearing heavily upon me.

Just took a bunch of scrap metal and wire from all my construction projects and random cables in, and got $31 bucks. Free money!

Got a bottle of Blanton's Gold. Not the fanciest but they are harder to track down these days.

No idea on the price. I should have grabbed the receipt. A lot of it was, like, 50 feet of coax, phone cable, ethernet cable, old extension chords, wallwarts, some 14/2...he just tossed it in a bin, weighed it and payed out. I'm sure they pay more if it is stripped. Actually, it was 2 bins, the wall warts, and random electronics(like an old car amp) were a lower price. He didn't really discriminate on what he took.

It was this place, they were real nice to a newb. I mostly didn't want it all going to the landfill. Totally worth going even if you don't have a ton of stuff.

It's obvious then it was a bunch of stuff from home projects... but did they at all have any signage or questions regarding the source of the material? Am asking because a metric crap ton of oil and gas sites get cables stolen. For example they'll go to a LIVE active site, clamp onto some wires with their truck, and pull like hell and often get several hundred meters of grounding wires, control wire, etc... These people even stole aluminum garbages cans. Needless to say the active site instantly goes down and usually there's no catastrophic issues but it is courting death, plus incredibly expensive to repair.

Yup, they took 2 pieces of ID, license plate, and entered me in the system. The guy before me got sent away because he was on a "do not serve" list. So I think they are careful.

My brother in law was murdered in June. Words can not describe just how bad the last five have been.he was 20 years old and his body has yet to be found. His parents have dipped into retirement funds borrowed against their house trying to locate his remains.hiring planes buying boats among other things and needles to say it has taken a massive toll on them.

Tonight at a bar on 17th s.e a fundraiser was held in Hope's to alleviate some of those expenses. It was overwhelming. The generosity of the people of our city never ceases to amaze me and tonight I had a front row ticket to it. For the first time in a long time I had a genuine smile on my face and it was all thanks to friends and family and ton of strangers. I am still in awe.

This article makes me very happy and hopeful. I would love to see my grandson free from the burden of Type 1 Diabetes, as well as anyone who suffers from this. The burden this would take off families and our health care system is immeasurable!

Please let them find the money they need to continue this amazing research.

I've been having endless stomach problems for the past 6 months or so. Some early blood work indicated damage to my liver and an early ultrasound showed some other things that made doctors think I either had an HIV infection or liver cancer. The doctor wasn't sure what it was, so sent me in for another round of blood work last week.

Since this started, I have instituted some pretty severe life-style changes that involved cutting out alcohol and exercising 5 times a week. Anyway, got my blood work back today, liver is doing great, but turns out I had an H. pylori infection this entire time - basically the bacteria that causes ulcers. Everything else is fine. What a relief. I feel like I got the rest of my life back. I've been so incredibly stressed.
