Best player I had the pleasure of coaching against in this city. We couldn't come close to stopping him #coolstorybro

Or maybe we could have gotten rid of the GM.

Went to Wisewood for Grade 10, nobody could stop Jake Harty at RB, was a fun year.

As expected, the Stamps have released Demerio Houston as a result of his domestic violence charge.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed Canadian offensive lineman Sean McEwen.
The 31-year-old native of Calgary, Alta. made 17 starts at centre for the Stampeders in 2024, helping the team finish second league-wide in average gain per rush.

Likely already used with the signing of Damon Webb is my guess.

He's big...Big is good, right?
The Calgary Stampeders have signed American offensive lineman Deiyantei Powell-Woods to their training camp roster.
The six-foot-four, 301-pound blocker played in 51 games and made 38 starts over five seasons at Central Michigan University. He was a third-team all-Mid-American Conference selection as a left guard in 2022 and a second-team honouree as a right guard in 2023.

Stamps are bringing back QB Logan Bonner, infamous for his five pick performance versus the Elks last season. Everybody loves a reclamation project, right?

The complaining about Dave is always hilarious. A couple of drive by posts by people who don’t even contribute posting the records of the GMs. Maybe look at the guys who are the scouts and how long they have been with the team. Our American scout is Huffs son.
I think the Stamps free agency was great and it’s not always CFL free agents but players we brought in. A deeper dive into the defensive linemen we brought in show they are focused on guys create pressure. We will see what happens. The offensive line is a question mark.
Excited for the season. We have a lot of skill and now we have a QB who can make plays.
Coaching matters as well. Comments from some of the players highlight it. Guys like Rose who go to Saskatchewan to be with Mace. Webb comes to calgary to play for Miles. The Monson hiring probably set this franchise back.

Yeah, obviously we're going to have to wait and see how these guys will mesh together, but on paper, this is a more talented team going into 2025. Much better QB, better receivers, running game essentially the same. The Stamps defense is a question mark, but Monson needed to be replaced and that has happened. Some pretty big losses at the linebacker position and hopefully the Stamps have found some suitable replacements.
As Paulie said above though, I echo his excitement for the season. Feeling much better about the team that I did a year ago (or even since after the Grey Cup).

Kenny Lawler got paid 313k and 317k for his deal with Hamilton. I thought 250 was going overboard for a guy who has never played a full season. Big yikes.
Terry Williams the returner from the Lions remains a free agent and we don’t have anyone. Plus need a punter.

Last time I checked, John Haggerty who punted for the Argos last season was still unsigned. Not sure if he's looking for too much money which is making some teams skittish, but I think he's one of the better punters in the league.

Let me know if I am wrong here but the last 2 punters, we had both got drafted and kicked right away? Rob Maver and Corey Grace.
I think outside of some smaller signings and Americans being brought in, the will fill out the rest of the roster through the draft. Stamps have never been afraid to draft guys and play them right away especially linemen.
