Yeah that's interesting that two of the top young guys were sat on the same day.
if it low key disciplinary- its the right call, and I guess if it is just truly time for you guys to watch one from up top- then I respect the coach there too but I'm assuming (what do I know really) that with the NHL break, this was going to be a higher attendance game with people wanting to see some of the prospects in action- so am assuming there was a reason for the message sending

I suspect some fatigue has crept in coupled with injuries on the roster plus the best players being called up. They could use some solid starts from Ignatjew, who has not played since Jan 25th

This is the thing with trading Vladar. I get why people want to, but like you say Cooley’s in uncharted territory on the farm, as is Wolf in the bigs. It’s probably best for the development of both to keep a vet around for the rest of the season. For me that’s worth the mid-to-late round pick Vladdy would garner.

I think this is where a cap dump like Grubauer could provide an opportunity or a similar swap.
