Was the whole Joe Exotic pardon rumour just something the he and his lawyers started to see if Trump would actually go for it?
As dumb as Trump is, I doubt it was something he ever considered.
Besides the political pardons, it seems like most in any given year are to people who have already served a majority of their sentences, or served them a long time ago making it more about restoring reputations and some privileges that may have been lost.
If someone was banned from a professional association (like a lawyer, accountant, or other profession that requires certification or association), and they get pardoned, can professional associations uphold the ban?
