The dumbest thing about that tweet is that he is suggesting that Amazon doesn't pay sales tax, but they do now collect it for every state that has sales tax.
Just like his inappropriate brag about owning the largest winery in the US, when a) his son owns it and b) it is not even the largest winery in Virginia (Virginia is only responsible for .26% of wine made in the US).
He said one of the biggest wineries; not the biggest. I don't know its size, but you did misquote him.
"Hope Hicks will work with White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders and all of the communications team and serve as the Interim White House Communications Director," a White House official said in a statement. "We will make an announcement on a permanent communications director at the appropriate time."
A senior administration official had confirmed to ABC News earlier in the day that Hicks, 28, will assume the role vacated most recently by Anthony Scaramucci, who served in the position for 11 days.
"President Trump has a magnetic personality and exudes positive energy, which is infectious to those around him. He has an unparalleled ability to communicate with people .... He has built great relationships throughout his life and treats everyone with respect. He is brilliant with a great sense of humor … and an amazing ability to make people feel special and aspire to be more than even they thought possible".
an amazing ability to make people feel special and aspire to be more than even they thought possible".
That's certainly true. Who among us hasn't thought, "I could do a better job as President of the United States than this guy", multiple times in the last 6 months?

It certainly seems to me that each successive Republican President or nominee for President is either roughly equivalent to, or (more often) worse than, their predecessor.
I can't wait to see who comes after Trump.
The Rock of course.

Another CEO just quit Trump's council
Inge Thulin, the CEO of 3M, has become the seventh executive to quit President Trump’s manufacturing council since the attack in Charlottesville, Virginia.
The statement:
"I joined the Manufacturing Jobs Initiative in January to advocate for policies that align with our values and encourage even stronger investment and job growth – in order to make the United States stronger, healthier and more prosperous for all people. After careful consideration, I believe the initiative is no longer an effective vehicle for 3M to advance these goals. As a result, today I am resigning from the Manufacturing Advisory Council."
President Trump’s main council of top corporate leaders appeared on the verge of disbanding on Wednesday, said people briefed on the matter, following controversial remarks from Mr. Trump on Tuesday when he equated white nationalist hate groups with the protesters opposing them.
Late Wednesday morning, Stephen A. Schwarzman, the chief executive of the Blackstone Group and one of Mr. Trump’s closest confidants in the business community, organized a conference call for members of the president’s Strategic and Policy Forum.
On the call, the chief executives of some of the largest companies in the country were debating how to proceed.
One option under serious consideration was disbanding the forum altogether.
If the forum does survive, several C.E.O.s were expected to resign from it.

I didn't particularly want to reveal the company I work for on the internal statement that was sent yesterday about it so I summarized it. Now I have no issue. Nicely done Inge. I'm proud to work for a company like 3M that supports diversity not just in talk but in action and have done so for many, many years.

love the shot she gave on her way out, not beating around the bush there.
Denise Morrison, president and CEO of the Campbell Soup Company, has resigned from Trump's manufacturing council. She's the eighth business leader to step down.
Quote:
Racism and murder are unequivocally reprehensible and are not morally equivalent to anything else that happened in Charlottesville. I believe the President should have been – and still needs to be – unambiguous on that point. Following yesterday’s remarks from the President, I cannot remain on the Manufacturing Jobs Initiative. I will continue to support all efforts to spur economic growth and advocate for the values that have always made America great.
