I picked this up for the wife for Christmas. She is going to be so stoked as long as she does not find out what I spent on it.
Last year I got her Wall-E and she loved that so this she will go nuts over. Can't wait.
I know they're discontinued, but anyone have a good idea where to get some of the Jurassic World sets without having to sell the child I'm buying for? I've checked eBay and the prices are insane. My kid just found the Lego Jurassic World show on Netflix, so thought it may be a good time to get him into building Lego sets (and acting as a proxy to convince mom on my behalf).
There's clearly some true Lego pros on here, so thought there might be a place I'm missing.

Visiting my folks. Decided to see if I could put together some old sets that have been hanging around for years. These were once built but were in pieces in several giant boxes mixed with hundreds, if not thousands, of other random pieces. Most are about 20-25 years old. Shocked I had about 99% of the pieces still and only had to substitute a few minor pieces. Still had the microscopic gold pieces for the treasure box for the pirate ship, I was amazed. Figure my nephew can have them when he's old enough to not just destroy them.
Spoiler!

This was formerly part of the collection but unfortunately I sold it when I was a teenager and briefly thought Lego was lame.
And this one was missing too many pieces to complete but the guts were still there.
I had that castle set when I was a kid. Found $50 floating in a hot tub in Fernie at age 6 or 7 and it was the first thing I ever bought with my own money.
My wife bought the Saturn V at the Chinook Lego store. She said they only had two more left (at 1:30pm this afternoon). I assume they're sold out now.
Curious about it (and liking it the more I look at it) I thought that I'd take a stab at it and call. The fellow said that they'd had 70 in stock when they opened this morning, and had sold out in about 5 hours. Guess I'll have to wait a bit.
