I think it's possible. the US seems pretty Laissez-faire with Covid. heck, every league down there has allowed fans throughout all this.
I can see this being true.

Aren't the 49ers playing somewhere else because they can't play at home?

Most for sure.
California is one state that games will be an issue but beyond tat, I think the rest will be allowed with various limitations in different states/cities.

Burke apparently said it's one province causing the issue and he knows which one it is but wont say.

Yesterday on CBC they said that flights from countries with high covid cases (Europe and India) are still coming into Canada. Yet Canadian NHL teams wouldn't be able to play here even though it would be a Canadian division. Seems odd.

I would imagine it would be one with multiple cities, or else wouldn't it make sense to just make one team play somewhere else in Canada rather than all of Canada playing in the US?

If that was the case couldn't they just share an arena with Edmonton? With the schedule looking to be home stands you think they'd just be opposite when the other was on the road.
Boom problem solved.

Yup, its gotta be BC. I don't think much would change if Vancouver took a year off. Give them the 10th pick in the 2021 draft and a "see you in September" card."

I would bet my house it’s BC. Granted with the news that the Edmonton bubble has been breached for world jrs, I wonder if Alberta changes its stance.

If they play in Hawaii it would mostly be for TV I'd imagine. Probably they'd all be afternoon games local so they'd be on prime time here.
The Flames dominate afternoon games in vacation destinations right?
