Well New Yorkers in particular. I think the worst thing that ever happened was everyone fawning over the US open in New York, calling it a unique and fun atmosphere with the heckling and shouting, at first.

Phoenix took that reputation and turned it into something really cool (stadium hole), New Yorkers took it as a green light to be belligerent, shouty A-holes at every event that comes near the city, even more so than before.

Man, DJ missing the 16th green from the middle of the fairway is going to haunt him.

He would have had a real shot at this with a par on that hole.

Poor Varner. first time on the biggest stage and he throws up an 81.

Koepka seals it.

Won 4 of the last 8 majors his played in. Joins the elite club of 4 time major winners before turning 30. He's 3 more majors to play too, before he turns 30. Gotta think he wins at least one more.

Hughes got himself in the final pairing for the 4th round.

Sloan has cooled off but is still T15.

Both these guys need a big Sunday.

Fans asking tiger what he thought about the guys $85,000 masters bet on him. He said “that’s ####ing great” or something. Was pretty off the cuff and funny.

Found it online. I liked when he stopped his swing about 30 seconds later..."He's a dumbass for the grand slam part, though".

Poor broadcasting all around today. Lots of guys hitting shots and then the camera just cuts to the ball sitting on the green, amateur hour. Not to mention a half hour between the end of the golf network coverage and the beginning of CBS. Then CBS goes to it's first commercial 3 minutes in, like **** off.

Great round for Tiger but Kaymer isnt coming back to the pack...his to lose at this point.

The womens US Open on the othert hand....its wide open and any of about 15 golfers could win it.

Speaking of which....one of them is named

Jeongeun Lee6

I dont think i have ever seen a number as an actual part of a name before.

This is just a nickname. There are several players on the KLPGA with the same name so they add a number to distinguish them. I think the numbers were given by age i.e., oldest is 1 etc.

Absolutely no idea the Women’s US Open was on this weekend. Women’s golf is really turning into a non event in North America.

I remember when Annika was winning and the majors were must see.

Funny thing is there has never been as many good players as there are now. On top of which is that the really good players are for the most part very very young.

It was WAY more compelling to watch the ladies today than the men IMO.

Its too bad, the ladies game is exceptionally good golf these days.

Yah I watched the last couple hours of the Womans US open, was a pretty enertaining finish.

I was listening to a podcast this week and they were commenting on womans golf after that guy on SiriusXM's comments and they were saying its very cyclical in the US. There aren't really any big names right not and some of the Americans are struggling so viewership struggles. Americans are very much pro-USA when it comes to viewership I guess.
