It should be a mix of "best 'day at the horse races' in a Galaxy far far away"

I'd say let's get weird and dress like NASCAR fans. They won't see that coming!

Anyone here a OneSoccer subscriber already? Considering pulling the trigger, but want to confirm the following is possible:

I can log on tomorrow night after kids go to bed, watch the game that is already over earlier that day, without the score being spoiled for me.

Can I do that?

The app does not show scores, which I appreciate.

I haven't looked too closely at when the matches go online after they are finished. I know that it isn't instant, but I honestly couldn't tell you how many hours it takes. I would think that you'd probably be fine by Saturday night though.

And to confirm the subscription process - you get 1 month free, but you need to provide a credit card. As long as you cancel before the start of your second month, you won't be charged. It has been a week for me, and all that has shown up on my credit card is a 0.10 "pending" charge, which is common for a pre-authorization.

I plan on getting the $75/year plan, but I wanted to try it out first before committing. But so far so good. I am quite liking it.

Seems like it, when I open the app the title for other videos is labelled like “Pacific FC vs Valour FC First Half Replay”, no mention of scores in any of the video links... might be different on the webpage but that’s how the app is

Just checked the web - no scores shown anywhere. As a frequent "avoid the score and watch later" sort of guy, I'd say that your risk of a spoiler is very low.

Halifax announced they have sold 5000 season tickets. Pretty impressive.

I just went to Spruce Meadows to get the seasons tickets package, and it looks like they’re prepared to put on a great event tomorrow! I didn’t go right over to the stadium, and they were just finishing up the fan plaza and beer gardens and such, but it looks like it’s going to be a blast with enough people there. I’m definitely looking forward to this as I think it’s being done properly. (Lets just ignore the pricing issue for a bit)

They’ve got a stadium that’s sensibly sized, playing on real grass and I think that a lot of fans will appreciate those aspects. I took a look at the shirts and didn’t buy. Maybe it was the lighting, but I felt like the home shirt is a little orangey. The away is really nice, I just don’t know if I will wear it. Maybe I’ll cave tomorrow!

Anyway, things look good at this point. They have signs up for the fan march and it seems like that’s something they’re going to try to get going. The people I talked to there said there was a lot of enthusiasm and they’ve seen a lot of support at the event last weekend and people coming through in general.

Savour this, Shermanator. You deserve it. Thanks for everything that you and the Foot Soldiers have done to advance the soccer cause in this city. A day like this seemed impossible a few short years ago.

So without scrolling through all the above - can I watch this on TV/online? Do I need to pay for it?

OneSoccer.ca is the only streaming on for today’s game, there is a free month if you want to check it out. The Wanderers-Forge match this morning is available to stream for free on cbcsports.ca and the CBC Gem app

Fellas

Just had a friend ask me about tickets. It’d be himself, and his young 3 year old son.
Understandably, as we’ve all wrote about within this thread, the club really bungled their pricing scheme, and the only tickets remaining that we’ve found are >$90 each.

Any leads?

Thanks!
