At home though, with last change, if you can get a couple strong shifts from that top line, that might be enough to beat a banged-up Preds team

Big game for Hanifin. He's going to be logging Gios minutes I assume.

Not too worried, he may still get some looks. Let him start the game on third line less pressure keene them focused.Peters can assess from there if he need to change it up.

Show us why you are here. Move the needle on the give a #### meter. I wanna see this guy be something . For all the haters of Bennett this guy does squat for this team .
Hope we beat the preds as they are my 3rd hated team and can be chippy and as dirty as Minnesota.
Let’s win these next 2 and get back our dirty captain. Man I’m stil seething at this bs suspension.

Jankowski has been really good recently, it’s not easy when you play on the 4th line and get zero pp time.

Crazy.

Well if you exclude any data that goes against your conclusion, it will always work out. Mangiapane also played 10 games in Calgary last year, so you may as well exclude him too. Rittich isn't on the list, but he will be in full uniform and could play.

Point taken on my part.
Point missed on yours.

Yeah, like the Flames were the best team in the League last season and would have won the Cup if you exclude the 'Not Making the Playoffs' part, include the 'Bad Luck' and ignore all of the goals against.
Damn. Other than all those things we had it made.

I don't know about that. Aside from playing defense, Ryan is great at killing potentially good offensive plays for this team.

I'm not as concerned. I think Brodie is better on the right, I think he's more creative, but I think his biggest transformation is due to a change in system and pace. If you watch him, when he's on his game, he plays almost like a rover, he's all over the ice. Andersson is also proving to be extremely creative and defensively aware as well. Other than preferring both on the right side, I think they're a pretty good fit actually.
He'll be fine on the left for a couple of games.

This would be a really clutch time for Neal to net one for the boys.

This is the game we need Neal. We have the depth to survive injuries, but our depth needs to perform. I’m expecting big games from Neal and Mangiapane.

I am excited to see how this years team faces their first real adversity of the season. With out their captain who has been an absolute beast, and without their main defensive shutdown Center man, this team still looks deep which is huge.
I see this as a massive opportunity for Brodie to show that he has turned his career around and can still be a stud with out Gio. He can give some assurance that once Gio declines, he can step up and be the man.
Big opportunity for who ever is matched up against Mcdoofus tomorow night as well
