We finally get Smith to play like we’ve wanted all season and the team can’t put anything together to beat a one line team. Beyond frustrating.

Get lindholm off the top line already. Other than the devils game, the only one the top line actually played well in down the stretch, guy has like 3 points since end of Feb!

More Bennett already Peters

How can you play one way all year (tenacious, turning pucks over, crisp passing, driving the net) and experience all that success, then stop doing it when it actually matters?

Any day now, Flames.

Where were the four other Flames to help out?

Ok crazy. I think they might be worse, if that's possible

Playing a bit better but they need even more if they're going to get themselves out of the hole they dug! Keep it up though!

At least he's doing something though

What would you rather he do? His linemates don't skate with him

Bennett doesn’t deserve any criticism tonight.

Neither does smith

And that’s about it

In all fairness though, it’s not different than when they pbp used to always talk about 18 year old Sam Bennett. I like the Miller/Ferraro over the sportnet option though. Which is why I chose to watch the nbcsn feed over CBC. However I wish it was Ball, but Miller is good too.

Flames are paper tigers. Ava have dialed the intensity to 11, Flames playing at a 4.

Part of the issue for them seems to be that they don't feel loose and confident. All season long they would be having fun and playing with confidence and creativity running up the scoring, whereas now they look tight and as though they're having no fun at all with no confidence to run the score up.

Monahan is completely useless out there. Might even be slower than Neal. This is pathetic.

Structurally, they look more cohesive, but they have no confidence. Totally frustrated and just going through the motions.

This is pretty sad to watch. Brings back so many painful memories.
