Fleury had played a tonne of hockey before his injury and I am betting that catches up to him in the second round.

It's funny I have this feeling SJ will come out despite their ridiculous stretch slump, and just go balls out hard and dispose of Vegas in 6. It'll obviously come down to goaltending, and the depth factor

Is the current playoff format a lock that if the flames advance, it would be SJ or Vegas? It might be worth trying to pre buy second round tickets in Vegas just to have a shot at such an experience before prices went even crazier!! Worst case scenario, you see Vegas play the Avs or get refunded if the Knights don't make it.

Taking a while to get to 5000

Don't care who wins so much as I want to see these teams punish each other over 7 games.
If I had to pick a winner, I'd say Vegas.

Joachim Ryan played 3 minutes. Burns played 28, Karlsson 26 and Vlasic 23minutes. I hope there will be 7 games and long overtimes. Interesting to see if Sharks continues to play with 5 defenceman.

16% of Burns' and 13% of Karlsson's minutes were PP time and those guys have always played a ton of minutes throughout their careers. It shouldn't be an issue this early in the series, but obviously Ryan with 2004 Brennan Evans levels of minutes is not going to help if they expect to be playing deep into the playoffs. Hope these two teams continue to beat up on each other (there were over 40 hits for each team in game 1).

Looking forward to another exhausting physical beat down for both teams tonight.
Man I’m glad we get to watch this one from first place.

Gusev is labelled as the best player on the planet outside of the NHL. The dude did have an amazing Olympic tournament for what that's worth. He could end up being more than decent. Interesting he'll join the team in this playoff series
