It's too bad you and other idiots like you voted in a provincial government that 1. created the conditions for the citizen initiatives and recalls, then 2. has refused to properly fund the organization whose entire purpose is to ensure integrity.

The point is that as funny as it is to write in Jack Mehoff, you don't want to artificially inflate a petition's initial signatures and give these separatist fuсksticks the impression that they have more support than they do, or worse, risk putting the petition over the threshold pre-validation.

For me I trust the process if it’s appropriately funded and backed by appropriate statistical rigor. We know the government has not approved the funding required to do this from the education recalls. So therefore it’s a risk. This petition will also likely be closer to the threshold which hopefully will require the appropriate increase in scrutiny to be statistically valid

I’m also more concerned with the perception of removing 10k signatures from the list that puts the petition under the threshold from conspiracy minded folks who already have low trust in government.

Independent Alberta petition canvassers on 37th street today by the Walmart. Rolled my window down and got their attention before giving them a nice big #### YOOOOOOU! and driving off. Felt good.

It’s astonishing mismanagement. They’re not funding anything, and can’t come close to balancing the budget.
