The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have signed Global punter Fraser Masin to a two-year contract.
The 24-year-old Australian was selected first overall in the 2025 CFL Global Draft by the Calgary Stampeders, appearing in five regular-season games and recording 27 punts for a 46.0-yard average. He was eventually benched in favour of fellow Global rookie Mark Vassett and finished the season on the practice roster, which made him a free agent at the end of the year.
Not a big loss, He wasn't a great punter for the Stamps.

The Ottawa Redblacks have officially signed American quarterback Jake Maier to a one-year contract for the 2026 CFL season. 3DownNation reported the agreement last week.
Per sources, Maier will earn $200,000 in hard money with an additional $54,000 in playtime incentive available. He becomes the highest-paid backup QB in the three-down league. The contract was negotiated by veteran agent Rob Fry.
How in the world does Maier have the reputation to earn 200K to be a backup.
