That is flat out the worst I've seen Calgary play since, well probably this century.

3 full days of Sutter practice till his first game behind the bench.

Time to start fixing the mess.

Sutter isn't really coming for this season

They battled and didn't give up after the putrid second period. I like that.

No idea what that OT was. Evaluating different combos? Like, we need wins here, unless they are giving up on the season.

I also felt like the refs really helped the Flames out tonight. So, thanks for that I guess.

Definitely miss Brodie for OT. That was the worst OT I have seen; from both teams.

Two bottom feeder teams fighting it out for points. However, the Flames didnt deserve 1 point, let alone 2. Especially with the 1-8 PP number. Even with Sutter, I cannot see this team doing much of anything.

It was nice seeing the one period we actually show up be the third instead of the first.

New season starts Tuesday. We will see what Sutter is able to do with this group but they have an uphill climb. I am optimistic as I felt a coaching change was needed and wanted Sutter as the replacement. 30 games to go

Pretty disappointing effort for 40 minutes. Glad to get a point but they had better be prepared for Tuesday morning.

Came out playing hard for Huska on Saturday. Not so much today.

Two game audition is over. Time for the real work to begin... hold on to your butts.

Well, we closed the book on an era of the Flames tonight. An overall ####y one.

Let's put it in the ground and never speak of it again.

New one starts Tuesday.

Gotta think tomorrow is a scheduled day off. Coming off 3 in 4 nights. Three days between the next game.

I suppose I could be wrong, but I have a tough time seeing guys on the ice tomorrow in any official practice tomorrow.

Can the NHL get rid of the frickin' shootout? I rather the game ended in a tie.

I’m excited about the return of Sutter. The core of this team is now out of excuses. They have a great head coach. Once and for all, make/succeed in the playoffs or be exposed as the real problem.

Calgary forgot there were other players on the ice in OT. I’m also wondering why Monahan and Gaudreau weren’t out together - I thought maybe Monahan wasn’t coming out after the previous OT against Toronto. But he did. Neither Gaudreau or Monahan were bad in OT, but they had no real help. OT needed some Kylington.

This may be the worst game I’ve seen Backlund play.

You're right.

Already been confirmed tomorrow is a scheduled rest day. Sutter and Treliving said his first practice will be Tuesday

Really obvious how broken this team is. I cannot for the life of me understand why Ward was hired in the summer. That decision put the entire season on life support from the get go.

I'm ready for Trelieving to be punted and a new GM to come in and evaluate everything from the bottom up.
