Miller gets his first win of the season as the Islanders improve to 9-3-0.

Wow, another win which is good. I guess Backstrom was the problem

A better effort from the team against a division rival. Jumped out to a lead but couldn't hold it. Talbot played well but those homers on the Island didnt want to give him one of the 3 stars.

I came up with a system to beat the Canadiens last night,

Don't know what I did wrong as I sent the old lines, maybe I forgot to save them.
Damn, Crawford end up being a net and blows the game for me again

2 wins in a row for the first time this season. Changes seem to be working, though Gibson was a huge factor in this win.

Nice comeback win. Good to see Kane playing so well on a consistent basis. Saros gets his first win which is nice to see.

Avs took it easy and started Quick.
Great all around performance with Backstrom getting 2 goals, Pettersson with 2 assists in his debut and Elliott picking up the shutout.

He's not getting one until he's an Islander!

Was digging through some stats.

We've only had 15 powerplay all season but have been on the penalty kill 47 times! Our special teams percentages are 68.1% on the PK and 13.3% on the PP... and yet, we're still winning games.

Is there an attribute that makes it easier to draw penalties??? Lol

Edit: lol, we also lead the league in hits, by a mile, with 312. Maybe that's part of it.

Usually with Saros in net it is a simple strategy...shoot

The DI ratings of a player help define how often they take penalties. But the line combos and settings you put in the sim can also impact that.
