Pats pretty much dominate the Vikes. Solid game.

Good stuff. Bears lose but so do their divisional counterparts. Would have been nice to win and basically close the NFC North out

Packers will be a very desirable job opening, rarely is there an opening with a proven franchise QB in place (and no ownership issues to boot). So probably smart to get out in front and start narrowing the candidates. As for McCarthy I'm sure he'll get another job this offseason, there will be many openings and he's still got a better resume than almost all available candidates. Got a feeling he's coaching the Bucs next year.

A Super Bowl champion in 2010, McCarthy is just one of three head coaches in franchise history to win a championship in the Super Bowl era, along with Vince Lombardi and Mike Holmgren. Since taking over in 2006 the Packers have had just two losing seasons under his direction and reached the postseason nine times — including eight straight seasons from 2009-16.

He concludes his Packers career with a record of 125-77-2, which is the second-best win total in franchise history behind Curly Lambeau (209-104-21). McCarthy has the most postseason games (10) and wins (10) in the playoffs of any Packers coach.

McCarthy is No. 27 all-time in the NFL in coaching victories and is the fourth-winningest active coach in the league behind Bill Belichick (258), Andy Reid (192) and Marvin Lewis (130).

Under McCarthy, the Packers did not just win Super Bowl XLV 31-25 on Feb. 6, 2011, but the team also won six NFC North division titles and advanced to four NFC championship games (2007, 2010, 2014, 2016).
Gutekunst is a bit of a different cat, so i suspect he has some guys in mind that aren't obvious candidates.

Reading different things I have seen Dabo Swinney and Kliff Kingsburys names come up....but those are just guys spitballin.

How many healthy, effective years does Rodgers have left in him? He plays a little more physical game than Brady and I can’t see him having more than 1 or 2 left in him if that.

Tony Dungy was outraged (in a quiet way) basically saying that you should never fire a Super Bowl winning coach. Pan to Rodney Harrison who pointed out that no one on the Packers was playing like they gave a ####.

Rogers does look beat down and I'm not sure he plays a style of football that will allow him to play effective close to 40. That said I expect with a new coaching staff he may be rejuvenated next season. I just don't think it's a very talented football team at the end of the day so they will need a good draft and free agency next season.

Chargers up 23 to 0 in the second half. All the way back from that 23-7 half time deficit.

The worst challenge in football costs the Steelers a timeout they might need. You're going to go for it anyway, just go for it. It rarely gets overturned.
