I'd be interested in the new SNES if Nintendo didn't purposely limit supply to increase demand (and prices). Not into paying 2-3x retail price for it

Hmmm. I had my old Game account with them from years ago so I just had to update my credit card. I probably would have just googled some random UK business and used that number.

The mini-N64 might be enough to sway me. We'll see in 2018 or 2019 I guess.

That could be a tough one. N64 emulation even to this day is not perfect. There are a lot of workarounds and plugin settings that have to be toggled from game to game. Granted, a lot of this has to do with a lack of documentation on the silicon that Nintendo used in the system. I'd be all for it.....If they get it right.

So I got a Nintendo Classic and set it up but was disappointed to find that the sound would cut in and out while I play games. On the main screen, it's fine but anytime I play a game, the sound goes out intermittently, returning a short while later.

Anyone have this problem? Real bummer...

Such a stupid conspiracy theory.

Same with Ocarina of Time. I remember it being this beautiful immersive world with stunning graphics. Saw a video of it a few months ago and was surprised how different my memory was.

Do you have a sound bar? Mine actually "turns off" temporarily when there is an absence of sound from the input, and older games are more likely to trigger it. It makes for weird gaps where you know there shouldn't be because takes a short time to start up again.

I'm a little curious about what the British retailers are doing given I'd be surprised if they have any clue at this point how many units they are getting.

If I recall correctly, Europe has their #### together for the NES Classic and offered preorders. Probably the same deal again.

Nintendo of America never even had any preorders for the NES Classic. It was always in stock orders or very nearly so.

"Sorry, this item does not ship to Canada". Never mind that that is $150+ shipping even if it did. I'm going to bet that, even with NOA's stupidity, I'll be able to get one for less than a 2x mark-up.

It's the same as the UK one. Just go through with the transaction and it'll go through, I just tried it again. They'll even remove the VAT like the UK I think.

EDIT: Yup, I went to the last step.
