I accidentally collected Flames hockey cards for 8 years and am starting to sell....

Since the Rasmus Andersson Young Guns thread is fairly popular, maybe people are interested in other hockey cards. I got back into collecting during the dark years and am getting out, as the plan was to use this to get a start on the kid's college fund.

I have hundreds of young guns, autographs, jerseys and patches that I'm looking to sell, so name your player and I can provide scans / photos.

Failed prospects like Aliu, Wotherspoon, Nemisz and Poirier? I've got em. Hyped up players who fizzled out like Glencross, Bouwmeester, Baertschi and Bourque? You betcha. Iggy? Kiprusoff? Phaneuf? Monahan? Gaudreau? Tkachuk? Have some of them too.

Also one Rasmus Andersson Young Gun. But I'm keeping that one

I'm actually thinking of getting into collecting. Picked up my first Hobby box of the Series 1 a month or so back, though I doubt I'd be keen on spending some of the "big bucks" that collections can go for. Have you determined the pricing for items you have yet? Base sets etc

Most of my collection is lower end, I only bought a few higher end cards when I saved a little. Everything is negotiable, but my starting point would be based on what the cards go for on ebay. But a Johnny Gaudreau rookie patch would obviously be much higher priced than say a Derek Smith rookie jersey card. I think the conversation would start with the player or type of card and go from there.

There has been quite the resurgence in sports cards during this pandemic, but that resurgence has not yet hit the hockey market.
