Lucic is a great choice. I’d vote for Lindblom tho.

Lucic is the obvious pick for the Flames and it would be nice to see him win, but it is hard not to see Lindblom get it.

If Gio gets picked up by the Kraken then what do you guys think are the chances Lucic gets the C?

I like Lindy but I haven’t herd a ton about his leadership skills? I always thought it would be Chucky but this season has made me believe he’s not ready. Lucic would be a good stop gap.

Lindblom, Marleau and Miller as finalists, with Lindblom winning with ease

Backes gets an honorable mention from me as well. He has seen really limited action over the past couple of seasons, but he sure gave it his best to come back.

I can honestly say that Lucic is the only player on the Flames has a standing YES order should anyone ever ask me if I'd like to meet him. He just seems like someone who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. A guy who is ALL team and cares about everyone.

It feels like almost every season a player is nominated for the Masterton for surviving the Oilers. Good on ya Looch. E=NG.

Lindblom should and will win this but Lucic is an excellent choice for our team. He’s had a great year.

How the hell do Smith, Perry, and Lucic get nominated for an award that is supposed to exemplify sportsmanship?
