Default December 11 with ten games!

The Tuesday OOT is a busy one again. There are four Pacific Division teams in action as well as three Central Division teams that are right behind the Flames in the western conference standings.

I wonder if the Sabres can beat the Kings? They've fallen massively since that 10 game streak and have been pretty terrible (though their overall standing is still very good).

Then again, it's not very surprising if you study their advanced stats.

I've only watched a couple of Sabres games recently, and I was wholly unimpressed each time

Even in the Sabres 10 game win streak, there were warning signs.

Their advanced stats were quite ####ty even during that streak and have also been getting propped up by good to great goaltending all year, mostly from Hutton.

Hoping for the Avs to give the Oilers a proper spanking tonight.

Leafs all over the Hurricanes, unsurprisingly. Hamilton doesn’t box out Ennis

Hurricanes commentators talking about how Hamilton hasn’t shown an “urgency to defend” during his time with the Hurricanes. Interesting...

The one glaring flaw we all knew but coveted his offense? Now his offense isn't covering up the glaring flaw and bam! Player exposed.

Agreed, while I think Hamilton is better than his offensive production has shown he was benefitting immensely from the flames system and their usage of him. The Canes don’t even use him much on the PP. Which makes me wonder, why did they trade for him in the first place. Take Hamilton off the pp and you are left with a pretty average Dman imo. Hanifin just does everything better outside of shooting the puck.

Hamilton's offense benefits greatly from a from forwards that are good at tipping the puck or getting rebounds like Tkachuk or Monahan because his biggest strength is probably his ability to get a shot on net. I'm not sure Carolina has too many of those guys.

I think Chicago's window is over. They should be selling heavily and rebuilding totally.

Another minus for Hamilton, believe he’s minus 3 or 4 on the night. Oof

The Sens are incredibly slow in their own zone. No wonder they've given up so many goals
