You realize that amazing Pettersson just got his 15th goal and 30th point. Our "not #1C" has 18 goals and 35 points with a better point-per-game...

What else does Monahan have to do for insecure fans to stop thinking this? Like c’mon, Canucks are going nowhere anytime soon. Let them enjoy the only thing interesting about their team while we enjoy winning hockey games. Flames have one of the most entertaining players in the NHL on their roster, be happy ####

Stonehands Garbageman is on pace to score 49-goals and 95-points. If only the Flames had a top-line centre.

=

It was pretty garbagy how he took the puck from the corner to the front of the net a roofed a backhand.

Lol it was just a small comment no need to get all defensive everyone. We have Johnny so im not mad at all just pointing something out. Monahan is a great partner on the top line and is a great player dont get me wrong i just think he wouldn't be able to get so much points with a different winger. Watching him doesnt scream #1c. Its just like how people called Hamilton a #1 dman just cause of his stats last year and said he was better than Gio. Some of u guys need to stop being such homers.

Monahan just isn't flashy and he's not a playmaker. There's nothing wrong with wanting a guy that is those things, but saying Monahan isn't a 1c because he's boring and needs a set up man to be at his best is odd

Scoring is the hardest thing to do in hockey. And Monahan has underrated hands for stickhandling and passing.

Back on topic, neat to see Agostino and Kulak get some regular ice time. Kulak playing with Shea Weber tonight and Agostino has a goal

I guess we will agree to disagree. Anyways Monahan is the perfect player to play with Johnny since he is so smart and so slick at passing. I just wish Bennett had turned into what we expected so we can have another great line (though Backlunds not too shabby either).

Agreed on Bennett. Glad he's looking better and doing little things right, rather than almost being a liability at times like last year. But at the end of the day he's still not producing much. Tkachuks production has slowed down since he started playing with him too

Habs take the lead late.

Price has been the difference maker. Last two periods have been all Hawks but Price has made some real nice saves

I mean, he's here, so clearly you did. You're the Ray Stantz of this board, you just couldn't help yourself.

That was a crazy first period as there were at total of 28 shots on goal (15-13 Devils). The goals certainly came fast with the first three goals scored in 69 seconds and that was 2:47 into the game. The Devils tied it up at 5-5 with just under a minute left in regulation. Anaheim won in the shootout.
