Hit was shoulder to shoulder and maybe it's just me but it looked like Wilson was lining up Reaves just as much as Reaves lined up Wilson
Lining up Reaves while looking in the complete opposite direction? That's a bit of a stretch.
It's an interference penalty. Definitely shoulder to shoulder though.
Wilson is a dirtbag, but you don't like to see a guy drop like that no matter who it is.

I disagree. I'm still pissed about the time he jumped Bouma from behind.
Precisely zero sympathy for the biggest dirtbag in the NHL.
I'm sure more than a few NHL players are indulging in a bit of schadenfreude right now.

celebrating anyone getting knocked out cold is bush league to me. Wilson will be out for a while. And do not, any of you, tell me you would not want Wilson on the Flames. That interference hit will not get any more discipline, but it was calculated and dirty (esp. if you watched the whole game. It is clear Reaves was on this mission going in.)
Clearly a late hit and interference. From a technical standpoint a good hit. Shoulder to shoulder.
From a safety standpoint the league needs to do a better job to ensure helmets don’t come off. While the hit here was illegal the cause of the injury was a failure in safety equipment.
