It's a much more personal story but still has lots of amazing action that you love from the Transformers. If you liked the Animated film you will love this.

First reviews for Aquaman were released yesterday and the majority are pretty positive

Currently sitting in the mid-high 70s on Rotten Tomatoes with many more reviews to go, hope it can stay fresh! I already got my tickets to the Thursday show

I'll see this in the theatres for the visual spectacle alone. The effect and world building are supposedly great.

Nasal Fan some of the reviews I’ve seen on Aquaman aren’t good at all. Worried?

He's a fan, it's unlikely he's worried since he already has his tickets. Sometimes you just need to shut off your brain and enjoy.

Even the "bad" reviews all heavily praise the visuals. Almost all the reviews basically say it's an awesome action/ sci-fi movie but not Shakespeare.

I don't know what there is to be worried about here. You get what you see.

I'm not worried, I love Batman V Superman and I remember when those reviews dropped, now those were bad reviews

I'm excited that it is getting good reviews and audiences seem to love it. After this weekend it will have made more money in China than every superhero film released there except for IW, Venom and Age of Ultron. I will still reserve judgement until I see the movie as Rotten Tomato score doesn't hold much water for me. For example I think V for Vendetta is an amazing film but it has a slightly lower score than Superman Returns, which is a movie I don't really enjoy.

Going to check out Into the Spidey Verse today, that film has getting amazing reviews I can't wait to check it out!

Thats because that movie genuinely sucked. It was objectively terrible.

Of course the reviews were bad. It was a bad movie!

Found this video of audience reactions from around the world to Thor's entrance in Infinity War. Most of the cam is pretty shaky, but it's pretty cool how Marvel has built this love for their characters. What other movie does this? Star Wars did for one movie just for nostalgia's sake. But damn, this entrance is, dare I say, Mighty.

I dont have a neckbeard so there is literally nothing 'in it' for me to go in wanting to hate a movie.

I dont get some perverse pleasure lining up and handing my cash to someone for something I'm going to hate so theres no incentive for me to go looking for things to hate about movies. There just isnt. I'm not being paid by one party or the other to have a bias.

But if a movie sucks I'm going to call 'em as I see 'em.

Into the Spiderverse was absolutely amazing. Great animation, great story, great multiverse Spider-Men/Women. I would highly recommend this to any superhero fans, I knew nothing about Miles Morales but after seeing that movie I want him in a live action movie......he would work so well in the Venomverse.

It might swing too much between too intense and completely boring for a 3.5 year old IMO

$1 Billion may actually happen for Aquaman, depends on how it does in North America.

I saw Spider-man - Into the Spider-verse tonight with my 4 year old. He really liked it and thought it was great.

I loved it. Every second of it. I grew up the biggest Spiderman nerd, to the point of continuing to collect Spiderman comics still into my 30s. I didn't know what to expect, and came out blown away in all aspects

Story itself, was really well written. So many layers, and really nice character development. Great underlying message of just being yourself, and that's good enough. My son even took that away from the movie.

Animation, wow. They incorporated an amazing array of techniques to tell that. I loved how they essentially brought the comics to life. I loved the cell shadings, the details, the use of depth perception with moving backgrounds and foregrounds, the slow-mos. The thought bubbles were a really cool touch.

The easter eggs were what blew me away even more. I won't give them all away here, but one of the very first ones in the movie set the tone for me the whole movie. When the original Peter Parker was doing his intro, and made fun of that god awful sequence on Spiderman 3.

Spoiler!

I highly recommend this movie to anybody, but especially any Spiderman fans.

Sounds like your last paragraph there has a pretty heavy spoiler? That character isn’t marketed in the promo material at all.
