That would be John Garrett - Not a tall goalie, but he has a huge soapbox.

I frankly have my sights set on the Presidents Trophy, so it’s about time Tampa starts losing.

Losers.

Jets tie it up with a seeing eye shot - 6 or 7 minutes left

Jets win it with 10 seconds left in OT

Anaheim is now 0-7-4 in their last 11

The Ducks have won a total of 12 games in regulation. They are 4-7 in OT and 3-2 in the SO.

Pretty sure Brobovsky is not even trying against the Rangers.

The Canucks scored earlier in the third period to take a 2-1 lead. There are five minutes left in regulation time.

So nice to see the dolts lose a couple of games in regulation recently with Vasilevskiy in net. It shows they can be had.

Brian Little has 500 career points. That surprised me

Final scores
https://scores.nbcsports.com/nhl/sco...p?day=20190113
http://sportsstats.cbc.ca/news/NHL-R...ate=01-13-2019

The OOT sure started off the right way as the Hurricanes defeated the Predators 6-3. Aho with a hat trick and an assist. Rinne was pulled halfway through the game after letting in 5 goals on 20 shots. Great PK by Carolina, it was perfect at 5/5. The weird stat had the Predators dominating the faceoffs 40-15. The loss puts Nashville 6 points back of the 1st place Flames in the conf.

The Jets and Ducks played it back and forth all game. The Jets tied it up at 4-4 with just under 6 minutes left in reg time. Little scored the GWG with 11 seconds left in OT. Too bad the Jets get the ROW and they remain 4 points back of the Flames.

The Canucks and Panthers were in a close game as it was 2-1 until the Canucks scored an empty net goal with over 2 minutes left. Another empty net goal followed with another goal near the end of the game made the score look like it was a run away for the Canucks who are now in a 3 way tie for 8th place in the conf.

The upset of the day had the Islanders beating the Lightning 5-1! Didn't see that coming at all as the Isles came out like gang busters making it 3-0 not even 5 minutes into the game. Still, Greiss was busy as Tampa Bay fired 39 shots at him. It was a wild 2nd period, the shots were 22-14 in favour of the Lightning.

The BJs win 7-5 in a who cares about defense game. Each period had 4 goals, all 12 goals were even strength, and no goalies were replaced. Georgiev faced 40 Columbus shots and Bobrovsky was in net for the BJs.

The Flames are within striking distance, just 8 points back of the Bolts.
