Ferland in a tilt with Austin Watson already in the 1st. (Canes up 2-0). Will have to track down some footage on that one. Good matchup on paper anyways.

I wouldn't mind Ferland back for the playoff run this year. Wonder what he will cost? He will complement our bottom six quite well.

Bennett-Jankowski-Neal
Hathaway/Czarnik-Ryan-Ferland

That looks quite solid.

Ferland makes it 5-1 for the 'Canes

Looks like Mrazek will go 7-0 against the Preds in his career

Edit: the goal goes to Williams

Ferland has always had a tremendous skill set. Very prized.

Even when he was in junior Ferland's fights would see that uppercut he throws from his skate laces. When it lands it's really effective but when he misses, look out.

Looks like he landed a glancing blow in that .gif

i was in favour of a longer deal for ferland his last contract, similar to jarnkrok with nashville. he has so much skill, grit, and potential that it seemed like a great gamble. guess it wasn't meant to be

Non-Oiler Ryan Strome scores to make it 1-0 Rangers.

Hellebuyck has been mediocre this year. Might have been premature of the Jets to sign him to so much money. Guess we will see if last year was a fluke and this year is indicative of how he is normally, or vice versa.

A Michael Dal Colle sighting, as he assists on the 3-0 goal.

Tampa despite keeping winning lately have been doing a bit of what Calgary has. Not putting their best effort in but keep on winning regardless.

Colour guy on the hometown hockey broadcast seems to have taken Elias Peterson’s first injury personally. Very invested in what he believes Mathison deserves
