Nov 16 practice notes. Rittich starts against Oilers. Lindholm maintenance day
No Elias Lindholm at practice this morning. He blocked a shot in the second period last night that hurt him, but was able to finish the game. #Flames

There is no way. They can’t just let him “work his way out of it” we are over a month into the season now and the back up goalies last start was a 1-0 shutout.
I kinda got giving him the Start Against Montreal after San Jose - he had a strong final 40 after a rough start against SJ but no way should he be in the net again tomorrow.

Thats not Lou advocating giving Smith the start, just saying he could see it.
(I initially thought Lou was making excuses for the team until I caught on to what he was really saying)

I will not be watching if Smith starts, what a mind numbingly dumb decision that would be. Like are you ####ing serious. This team is like a charity service for older washed up players.
The man has lost you 4 games easily this year, only the flames would keep throwing him out there. Matt Murray can’t even start for Pitt but mike smith can get every chance in the world to stay the starter. Some teams get it and some don’t, I’m starting to get the impression the flames don’t get a lot of ####ing things.

Starting Smith is "guaranteed loss night". Why on earth would you do that against your biggest rival, at home?
If Smith starts, load up your fantasy team with every Oiler you have. McPoutyPants might score 10 with Smith in net.
