Apparently Ilya had a second opinion done for the injury (which was knee related) and Seravelli took that opportunity to run with a narrative that the only reason there would be a second opinion (something that's very common) was a possible ACL tear. Guy is a twat.
On the Rachel Doerrie front, it sounds like she ran her mouth to an owner who is known to meddle in hockey ops and got turfed for reasons not related to hockey ops. I sincerely hope Aqua lad sits on a ####ing cactus.
Edit- Or it was nothing sinister, the Canucks just saw her work in house and weren't happy with it and pulled 'chute quickly because of it. Wouldn't be the first time someone get to a new job and it became apparent very quickly that they weren't a good fit for the role.
The latter one, realistically, seems more likely and has traction with local beat writers. But because Francesco Aquilini is such a ####, the less substantiated former rumour can't just be ruled out as just a ####ty twitter rumour.

Well if it's the second one I don't understand what all the secrecy is about, just say there were differences in philosophy and approach etc etc. This speculation is creating a story for no reason.

She was a junior analyst so I can understand why the team didn't feel a need to make a statement on her termination. But after how much fanfare there was for her hiring for that junior analyst position , they need to consider that with her termination.

I'm a big believer that this equation is some bad math and that Reggie was lazy and just copy/pasted his Edmonton formula to save time.

Reggie probably was/is lazy, but I think the math still checks out.

I don’t know, Reggie is a Professor of Nogoodonomics and Nogoodorology he’s seen the finest intricate details of the No Good. I would trust his math on all things No Good.

Reggie is a plagiarizer. He stole his work from the esteemed Doctor Gregory Q. Stoningham III's paper on nogoodness and it's origins in Maple Leaf Gardens. Reggie just applied the same basics to Edmonton and it lined up perfectly. Man is a fraud and a snake and quite possibly secretly a Maroons fan.

But Reggie studied with Dr. Reptilicus…thee Dr. Reptilicus, discoverer of the Nogoodness domes that encapsulate large areas, situated in some areas of New Jersey and most of Florida. Reggie then set out on his own to study this rare phenomenon in Edmonton and discovered the “Mother of all No Good” aka the MoaNG. Where he the invented the Anti-NoGood Yurt and studied the phenomenon up close. Leading to his game changing equation E=NG!

Let us pause a moment to remember all the brave researchers who gave their lives studying Edmonton up close before the Anti-NoGood Yurt was developed. All their goodness was leached out of their bodies, and their bones will lie in the earth of Nisku forever. Without them, Reggie's ground-breaking work would not have been possible.
Also, many Bothans died to bring us this information.

What's the deal with the Doerrie firing? Seems really odd to fire a video person in the preseason.

When asked about Doerrie, Francesco Aquilini replied, I treated her like she was one of my own kids.
This is a Joke of course.

Sounds like she got to Vancouver and her work wasn't very good.
