Please stop broadcasting your ignorance.
What “government” are you talking about?
Municipal? Provincial? Federal?
Everyone is different with the their own assets and detriments.
Still, none of them give bonuses or stock options when things are going well.
The biggest thing they offer is security of employment because the operation is necessary no matter what your opinion.
Is it optimally run all of the time?
No.
Is any organization?
Are there inefficiencies?
Yes.
If you don’t like, engage in the intellectual effort and physical
rigour to fix or improve it or STFU?
Otherwise you sound like a clueless pithy clown denigrating people who have dedicated their livelihood to serving the public.

Don't know what to think about this new morning show. Sports Select is now a sponsor, so we get designated time to talk exclusively about gambling.
In an industry that has already tired its fans with betting talk, I don't think this is going to fly for very long.

NFL talk for my entire drive in this morning...
Nothing about the Flames or the Stamps game on Saturday.
I am not a fan of the Fan right now...

I enjoyed it. It's normal and expected to discuss NFL Monday morning. Have all week for Flames talk which they are doing right now as I type this.

Waiting for him to "have fun" and "be hilarious". I went to the Stamps game as we have a dog in the fight. 7:00 am on way to work and it's NFL when I left as well so tuned out as soon I tuned in. I get to do that, I do NOT have to listen to NFL if I don't want to so I don't.
Tuned in a little later heard Ryan Leslie and it was still pretty dry. 107.3 is winning big time in my morning drive.

You realize people come to fan boards to complain?
Don’t take it personally.

I think George Rusic makes sense for the show, he can be sarcastic, snarky and creative. I always enjoyed his segments with Boomer, hopefully he and Matt Rose can create their own vibe, much like when Boomer took over from Mike Richards.

Would you like some cheese with that union, pension security wine?
Or I’m just a big dumb dumb that thinks all government workers are lazy and overpaid?
I don’t think all of them are lazy and overpaid, i simply stated that they are guaranteed allot of time off from work, when it’s a holiday. Not everyone gets that. And I sympathize with those people. Not everyone gets weekends or holidays off.

I enjoyed the first show. But I also think 8 hours of the same recycled content is terrible radio.

I'll give Rusic a chance. I do certainly think he has a good voice for radio. It's going to take him some time to make the show his own, and hopefully put his own spin to it. As long as the Flames talks keep coming, I'll still be tuning in.
