I was in Vegas during the Golden Knights vs Sharks series last year during game 5. My co-worker bought a ticket for $300 or $400 and I thought I'd do it if it were the Flames. So I went to the arena with him and I watched from the viewing party just outside the arena. There was easily over 1000 there, and even more people all up and down The Park. It was an awesome atmosphere.
I'd love the chance to do it at Red Lot. My son is asking me to take him on Saturday. We just may do it. Standing without something to lean on for an entire game is hard though. I only lasted one period at the game in Vegas... then again I was in Vegas and there was Vegas things to do!
There was definitely something like that they charged for. Walking through the concourse or something, but I thought it included a viewing party as well.
That came up in my Facebook memories today!

Wow - $80 to be in the stadium, but you can't actually watch the game? I thought there might have been some standing room only areas or something, but that is brutal.

Too bad about the weather tonight..was down at the Dome briefly about 1-1.5 hrs before the game, you could tell the snow was putting a damper on things outside. Saturday should be a better scene.

I was there for about an hour. They had heat posts set around the area but still found it a little chilly. Not many other people but mind you this was up to about half hour till puck drop. Ended up paying the $10 and watched the game in the big 4. So glad we did! Atmosphere was nuts!
