Either of San Jose or Vegas would be a handful in the playoffs. Hopefully Flames can win the division.

If Van holds this lead, they pass the Oilers. Yet another team for them to leapfrog haha

Also, go Vegas!
I enjoy an Oiler loss as much as anyone but the ideal scenario is for them to win more than they lose, even finishing as high as 9th.

This would
  • lower their draft position and lessen their odds in the lottery
give them false hope that they aren't bad
cause them to keep (and maybe overpay) members of the current roster
lead to more press conferences where they claim everything is on track
The truly ideal situation would be this sprinkled with enough disheartening losses (such as the New Jersey one last week) to really make the disaster last a little longer.

cue the evil laugh

Are they a handful or neither can play any resemblance of defense?

This is a wild game. Very entertaining and they're getting nasty.

We really need these guys to match up first round while we manhandle Arizona

Ha! Chicago gains another point buffer over Edm, while Vancouver also passes Edm in the standings. This is the Oiler team that’s making a push for the playoffs getting passed

Is San Jose’s goaltending just as suspect as ours or worse? Who’s would you take going into these playoffs?

The only pushing is the twin kids out into the pool.

I'd say we're pretty much even with SJ in terms of overall goaltending. Theirs might be slightly worse actually. Sadly though, for a goalie who craps the bed as often as Jones does, he always seems to stand on his head against the Flames for some reason.

probably has a bit more juice vs Calgary as an ex-Hitman that went undrafted...

The Kings were down 2-0 and have come back to tie it at 2-2 midway through the second period. The majority here would want the Kings to win.

Wow, the Sharks appear to be hitting the skids at just the perfect time. Flames need to take advantage of this, starting tomorrow.
